Repointing
Repointing the ridges and gable ends on a roof not only makes the roof look good, it also prevents water leaking into the ceiling and helps stabilize the ridge tiles. We grind off old pointing first, creating the opportunity to apply the new pointing and allow for a smooth finish
Painting
At I.R (Integrated Roofing) we use the highest quality paints, primers and sealers to ensure the best final product. We meticulously prepare the surface, removing any dust or dirt in order to allow the primer to adhere to the roof surface. This allows the paint to last for decades. Pressure Washing
Pressure Washing can breath new life into an older roof, removing the old lichen and dirt can really make the house look a lot newer and also add value to your home. Our high pressure washer can remove even the toughest dirt’s and mosses. When getting the roof painted its also an essential part of the process.
Re-Bedding
As a roof ages, sometimes clients will notice that ridge tiles have come loose and old cement is crumbling underneath the ridges. This usually happens with roofs that are 20-30 years old however it can happen sometimes when the foundations of house shift slightly. The way that we re-bed ridges is by using a high ratio mix of cement and also adding glues in order to bond the concrete to the roof with maximum strength and durability.
Gutter cleaning
Gutter cleaning is a small but important part of roof maintenance. Clearing out old debris from the gutters prevents overflow of water in heavy down pours of rain. Keep the gutters clean can reduce or eliminate the likelihood of the water overflowing and damaging the facia and exterior of the house.
General Maintenance
We offer a few services involving smaller scale repairs. We offer a substitute service for full roof restorations, where we charge a much lower price and just repoint the minimum sections that are absolutely necessary for practical concerns of leaking, although visually it never looks as good as the full restoration. We replace laser lite roofing of patios, verandahs and outdoor areas. We change facia boards, and also do small painting jobs. We can locate leaks and seal them, and change tiles and much more!
